What it takes to be platinum- Miami Herald


"The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification program, or LEED, provides an independent, third-party verification that a home was built using strategies aimed at achieving high performance in environmental benchmarks.
Since the program’s inception four years ago by the U.S. Green Building Council, LEED has certified 16,000 homes across the country — and one of the greenest houses in the country is in Sarasota, Fla."
