Boulder County Recycling Center celebrates 10 years- August 22

Dear Eco-Cycle friends,

Years ago, many of you came together to do something very important for our community: You helped establish the Boulder County Recycling Center.

Eco-Cycle and the Boulder County Resource Conservation Division would like to thank you, and our entire recycling community, for your contributions and show you the center’s latest achievements.

You are invited to the Milestone Celebration!

Come celebrate the people and events that helped create the Boulder County Recycling Center more than 10 years ago, and see how far we have come.

Where: Boulder County Recycling Center, 1901 63rd St., Boulder
When: Wednesday, August 22nd from 2:00pm – 4:00pm.
Why now? We just passed the 500,000 TONS mark of resources recycled at the new facility! That's a HALF MILLION TONS of metal, glass, plastic and paper that didn't need to come from our forests, mines and oil fields.

We're doing the right thing for our community and our planet, and we can do even more. It's all because of you, the community, in partnership with our local elected officials, public staff and Eco-Cycle, that we keep growing.

A tour of the recent equipment additions will be given following presentations by the Boulder County Commissioners and Eric Lombardi of Eco-Cycle.

Please RSVP to marti@ecocycle.org or jljohnson@bouldercounty.org. Light refreshments will be served.

Thank you for all you do for our community,

Eric Lombardi
Eco-Cycle Executive Director
