Salad from the Sidewalk- Pros and Cons of Foraging in the City

Foraging seems to be a new trend. In fact, foraging has been around for quite some time but now days some people have taken it to a new level: foraging in the city. But before you decide to go looking for food in your neighborhood park and on its sidewalks, you may want to read a little bit more about foraging.

You may find the definition on here.
You may find some resources on Steve Brill's website here.
You may even find a cookbook on the Houston Press blog here.

Last but not least, please read the article "Enjoy Park Greenery, City Says, but Not as Salad" on why New York moved to stop foraging on the New York Times website here.
